What is the meaning of ability to accept change
Recruiters are increasingly targeting workers who aren't actively looking to change jobs.Recently, in my abnormal psychology course at winona state university, we started talking about acceptance and commitment therapy.Accept the change in workplace difficulty:(1) emotions are inevitable, (2) change equals loss, (3) acceptance requires planning, and (4) certain factors increase resistance. The only way that we can grow is if we change. It defines acceptance as willingness to tolerate a difficult situation.
The main parameter all employees need to possess is the ability to adapt to change.A typical scenario occurs where managers say they agree with the change but in practice either quietly sabotage it or otherwise provide so little practical support that the change fails.Adapting to change requires give and take between the leader and those experiencing the change.Accepting change is challenging, but that's how we move our lives, forward. The important part to focus on is that acceptance is a willful act.Acceptance and commitment therapy focuses on the idea that:
Change is an emotional experience. Our goal is to embrace change and realize that we play a role in.
